DRIVING from SFO Airport:

Google Driving Directions from SFO

FROM SAN FRANCISCO AND SOUTH SF:
Take the Golden Gate Bridge (no toll in this direction)($6 toll return trip - South Bound) becomes Highway 101N.
Exit at Central San Rafael (approx 13 miles).
Go Straight for 3 blocks to 5th Street,
5th turn (RT) travel 1 block to
Grand Ave turn (LF) travel 3 blocks to
Acacia turn (RT).
Just past the Main University sign and across the road from the Gym complex. Go 1 block up to Magnolia turn (RT). Drive I more block then straight ahead you will see a set of white pillars framing a driveway. Notice the small sign directing you to Santa Sabina to the left of these pillars. At this point continue left on Magnolia which then sweeps around a curve to the right and goes past our parking lot on your right. Drive into the parking lot where the large wood sign for Santa Sabina is posted. Up the couple of steps to the wood door.

FROM THE EAST BAY: Take Interstate 580 over the Richmond
Bridge to Highway 101 N. Exit at Central San Rafael. Then follow
directions above…….

FROM THE NORTH, SANTA ROSA, (Etc.): Take Highway 101 S.
Exit at Central San Rafael. Go 2 blocks south to 5th St. Turn left
under freeway and 2 blocks to Grand Ave. Turn left and follow as
above 3 blocks to Acacia……

Marin Aiporter from SFO:(415) 461-4222. Buses depart every ½ hr.
Cost: $20 (one way)

Meet airporter bus on the lower (baggage) level of airport at the ‘Courtesy Island’
in center of drive, look for the Blue column with a sign marked Marin and Sonoma County hanging above it.

Marin Airporter (5:30 AM to midnight). There are two San Rafael stops. You should get off at the second stop which is the Transportation Center at 3rd St./ Central San Rafael. Total trip takes about 1 – 1 ¼ hour depending on time of day and traffic.
(Ask the bus driver to call ahead for taxi to meet you)

*Santa Sabina is a 20 minute walk or a ~$6.00 taxi ride from transit center.

provides non-stop service to San Rafael Transportation Center, 3rd St.Central San Rafeal. Buses depart from the airport every two hours (5:15 AM to 9:15 PM).

Exit main entrance and meet the bus on center isle under sign marked Shuttles. Trip takes about 1 – 1 ¼ hour.

BY GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT BUS FROM SAN FRANCISCO: (415) 455-2000. Take Bus # 70 or # 80 to 3rd St. in San Rafael. Current bus fare From S.F.$4.55 exact change only.

FROM Oakland Airport by BART then bus: Take BART and exit at El Cerrito Del Norte Bart Station then bus: (415) 455-2000. Take Bus # 40 or #42 to 3rd St. in San Rafael. Current bus fare From E.Bay $3.75. exact change only. (not recommended)

Walking to Santa Sabina From 3rd Stree Transportation Center:

Walk East on 3rd (walk under the freeway) to Grand, left on Grand and the about 3 blocks to the Dominican University campus. Turn right on to Acacia just past the Main University sign and across the road from the Gym complex. Go 1 block to and right onto Magnolia. Drive I more block then straight ahead you will see a set of white pillars framing a driveway. Notice the small sign directing you to Santa Sabina to the left of these pillars. At this point continue left on Magnolia which then sweeps around a curve and goes past our parking lot on your right. Drive into the parking lot where the large wood sign for Santa Sabina is posted. Facing the building from the street you enter the building at the left end. – about a 20 minute walk.
