Instructions to Play MP3 DVD Training Recordings

If your machine does not auto-play these files:

For XP users;  

1. Go to Start at lower left-hand corner of your screen left click,
2. Go to My Computer left click; this should open a window showing your DVD drive it should read Richard Miller.
3. Go to the icon DVD Drive and right click, a window will open giving you options;

If there is a Play option right click it; this should open a media player and begin to play.

If there is only an Open option right click it; a window showing all the mp3 file will appear.

Right click the mp3 file that wish to hear and this should open a window with a Play option;

Right click Play; media player should open and begin to play the file.

(Vista should work in the same manner except there is only the window icon in the lower left hand corner.)

Load MP3 DVD files onto an iPod or other MP3 Player

To load the mp3 file on to an external player the files must first be placed in a library (iTunes or some other program for transferring mp3 file to an external device) or a file on your computer.  In some cases these file will not transfer directly from the DVD.

1. Simple transfer to file;
2. If you do not have a file folder to transfer the mp3’s to create one; (suggested title “Richard Miller Training”)
3. Go to Start at lower left-hand corner of your screen left click,
4. Go to My Computer left click; this should open a window showing your DVD drive it should read Richard Miller.
5. Go to the icon DVD Drive and right click, a window will open giving you options;
6. There should be an Open option right click it; a window showing all the mp3 file will appear.
7. Highlight all of the file; (ctrl-A) right click and choose the Copy function.
8. Move to the new file folder you have created and Paste the file (ctrl-V) into the folder.

(This will allow your device to read the files as mp3’s rather than just data which is what it may read the DVD files as)
