iRest Teacher Petaluma, CA

During my 30 year psychotherapy private practice, I have seen many people benefit from the iRest practices.

I am now retired from my psychotherapy private practice, so that I can devote myself fully to offer iRest classes and private iRest sessions. iRest Yoga Nidra provides healing to deal with grief and losses, fortifies us to meet the many challenges life brings with love and compassion, and aids us to remember undivided True Nature.

In 2007, I had my first opportunity to bring the iRest practice to the homeless at the Mary Isaak Center in Petaluma, CA. Having studied directly with Richard Miller, and completing the Advanced Level trainings, I saw many folks benefit from this practice, not only in my individual work as a psychotherapist with others, but with my students, in many group settings. I have worked with the people at COTS (Committee on the Shelterless), and in the Certified Integrative Yoga Teacher Training Programs with IYT teacher Jean Grant Sutton. Additionally, I have presented to groups at Sonoma State University, Kaiser Hospital in Santa Rosa, and various yoga retreats.

I now offer private sessions that incorporate iRest practices. Private sessions or group classes may be offered in a variety of settings: in person, online, and in nature. It is an honor to see people’s lives change with this practice.

When not working, I enjoy yoga and its many forms, hiking, reading, writing, art, photography,  gardening, improvisation classes, word games, and family time.
