Richard Miller, PhD is the founding president of the Integrative Restoration Institute, co-founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and founding editor of the peer reviewed Journal of IAYT.

Among his many publications are, Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga, The iRest Program for Healing PTSD, and iRest Meditation.

Richard has devoted his life and teachings to integrating the principles of western psychology and neuroscience with the ancient nondual wisdom teachings of Yoga, Tantra, Advaita, Taoism, Buddhism and Judeo-Christian traditions. He consults on research and leads meditation retreats and trainings internationally.


Ross GuestRoss Guest
Ross Guest is the Executive Director of IRI, as well as a supervisor and certified iRest teacher. He has been a student and teacher of iRest for 20 years. He lives in Kimberley BC where he teaches yoga for men. He also teaches meditation to groups and individuals.

A passionate cyclist, Ross rides a few thousand kilometers each summer and competes in Grand Fondo events. Ross is devoted to taking the practice of mediation off the cushion and into real life situations to meet and be with whatever is arising in the present moment. Ross is thankful that his first and only yoga and meditation teacher is Richard Miller who is an employer, a teacher and a good friend. Previously, Ross was a Corporate Counsel for a number of Textron companies in Canada and was a director and business consultant to numerous large Canadian companies. Ross and his wife Kirsten enjoy an active lifestyle of weight training and outdoor activities in the Mountains of the Rocky Mountain trench.

Anne Douglas
Anne Douglas serves on the Board of Directors at the Integrative Restoration Institute and is involved in the on-going development of the iRest Yoga Nidra trainings. Anne had the privilege to be the first person to attain iRest Certification and to facilitate the iRest Trainer Certification Program with Richard Miller in 2015, bringing 13 new iRest Level I trainers into the field. It is Anne's joy to supervise students through iRest Certification and she has developed an area of expertise in therapeutic settings which includes dyads, customizing a practice and working with difficult emotions or beliefs.

Anne is a certified, professional level Kripalu Yoga Teacher, a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, and Holistic Lifestyle Coach. She draws upon these skills to facilitate: classes, private coaching, personal growth workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. Anne's work is continually inspired by the natural and wild beauty that surrounds her in the Canadian Rockies. She is the owner of Anahata Yoga Therapy. Her own experience of the inner peace and deep joy that has arisen from the practices has inspired her to share them with the world. Her passion is the integration of Embodied Awakening through all aspects of life.

Stephanie LopezStephanie Lopez
Stephanie Lopez, LISW-S is IRI Director of Operations and a member of the IRI Board of Directors. Her 23 years of professional work center on nonprofit organizations bringing empowerment, equality, and compassionate action into the world. Her background as a Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist infuses her mission to serve veterans, trauma survivors, the homeless, and those nearing end-of-life.

Stephanie has studied yoga for 22 years and worked as a yoga and meditation teacher for 15 years. As a Gestalt psychotherapist she bridges eastern nondual wisdom with western psychology. She finds inspiration in supporting her clients and students to rediscover their essential wholeness and authentic truth. Outside of work Stephanie loves to travel, hike, and spend time with her beloved husband, Francisco and their two cats, Juniper & Luna.
