At the center of Amy’s practice is the belief that positive personal rapport and connection between client and therapist is crucial. It is this personal and nurturing connection, along with Amy’s expansive and integrative approach, that allows the transformative process to unfold for her clients. Amy’s natural intellectual curiosity for continual learning and growth, personally and professionally, has resulted in extensive post graduate training in many areas, including Integrative Restoration (iRest) Meditation, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Experiential Therapy, Post Induction Therapy (PIT, developed by Pia Mellody), Real Relational Couple’s Therapy, and Healthy Sexuality. These years of continual learning and training have provided Amy with valuable gifts and resources to share with clients in her practice. Amy offers process and solution-oriented guidance in the areas of relationships, anxiety, codependency, depression, financial issues, post traumatic stress disorder, sexuality, and trauma.
