I am a licensed psychologist in private practice in Vancouver, Washington. In my practice I focus neurocognitive evaluations and non-dual psychotherapy adolescents and adults who present with anxiety and mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and who have been victims of crimes and accidents. I also work with clients with chronic pain and a variety of medical conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and traumatic brain injuries. I have also practiced forensic psychology since 1990, and now focus on providing psychotherapy to individuals involved in criminal and family law cases. I have long taught my clients relaxation and mindfulness, and was introduced to classical yoga nidra when I was 12 by my older sister. I then "rediscovered" yoga nidra in 2008 and began to incorporate yoga nidra in my psychotherapy practice and yoga classes around that time. In 2009 I completed iRest Level 1 training and completed Level III Certification in 2013. I continue to research and incorporate other approaches to yoga nidra, somatic psychology, and non-dual approaches to meditation and psychotherapy in my personal and professional practice. I am accepting referrals for psychotherapy that from clients who seek a non-dual perspective and who wish to utilize iRest yoga nidra. I am also interested in working with clients who wish to utilize iRest as a vehicle for their growth and development.
